Monochrome Joe Records presents "Ice, Lungs, Lava, Live!", a King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard live at Red Rocks '22 compilation!
This record is a compilation of all the tracks from King Gizz's acclaimed album “Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms, and Lava” which they performed live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2022. The studio release of that album is excellent on its own, but these songs were made to be played live, and by extension, to be jammed on and subsequently pressed into records to preserve them for the ages. With each song written in a different Greek mode, these four epic jams (and a couple of cheeky bonus tracks) make for one epic record. Escape from the depths of the deathless purgatory with the Ice Gators as they’re pursued by the molten, ever-present Magma God!
To indirectly offset the plastic and carbon footprint of this record's production, I will donate 25% of the profit to The Nature Conservancy. The artwork for this project was made with love and tons of effort, and I'm beyond excited to finally bring it into the world!!! LETS GO!!!
