HOME FERMENTING" is the 3rd album of a Japanese singer-songwriter Mimlus Naito Akiko.

I'm a homebody. So the stay-home restriction against the spread of covid19 was a period I felt lucky , as it gave me a good excuse to stay at home. This album is full of all my favorite sounds that I found and what I was thinking about during that time when the world went quiet. It became a collection of 80s sounds - smooth city-pops - pure acoustic sounds, all lined up to fit in together to form a subtlety but cozy album. It is fermented pop music, completely home-recorded for a year with two additional musicians. Everything around my place like dishes and slippers was turned into musical instruments, sampled and layered throughout this album.

"HOME FERMENTING" will be available in October as a limited 33rpm light blue vinyl with pretty visual design by Mimlus Naito Akiko.
