Some of you may have noticed that I've been posting a collection of visual voice memos from the last couple months. Like all of us songwriters, we jot down lyrics, record snippets of melodies, progressions or anything that we can possibly use down the road. Although the songs I primarily write have lyrics to them, I also have a strong affection for solo guitar pieces. It started on my first record. I had a couple of solo guitar interludes to round it all out, and there was always a piece of me that wanted to explore that side of myself even deeper. Something about playing on your own, having a rough arrangement and theme and then seeing where it takes you is a cathartic experience. I wanted to see what would happen if I could put down an entire album worth of "Visual Voice Memos".
The album is called 'Mile End' and the vinyl is exclusive on here!
