Four Leeds-based producers have come together to produce a 12" which not only looks and sounds awesome, but all the profit made on this project is going to the Macmillan Cancer Care charity. Everybody we know has had some kind of connection with cancer - a family member, a friend, a partner, a loved one or even themselves - so we want to harness the positive spirit of music and the 'community' vibe of the house music scene to try and gain funds for a worthy cause. We hope you like the EP, can support it and also feel free to share this with any DJs/friends who you feel may want to support the cause.
Rob Small and MYR & Taylor are Leeds based producers who also run their own studios - in Rob's case he is a mastering engineer of huge repute, whose work graces labels across the world and he has recently mastered the likes of Daft Punk (no small feat!), while Tom Meyer operates the White Noise recording studio in the city, offering studio services to both electronic and live acts alike. After a breakthrough 2017 with her crisp vocals featuring on Outcross Records’ Iain O’Hare’s latest album, Neon Logic, Taylor Hall has been working with Tom, producing and working on new material to release in 2018. Al Bradley and Carlo Gambino are all long-serving & well-established producers from Leeds, with their own labels - 3am Recordings celebrating 15 years in 2018 and Midnight Social Recordings now into its 7th year - fully entrenched in the city's scene. Both are renowned DJs, having played around the world & graced the decks of places such as fabric, Sankeys, Space Ibiza, SASH Sydney & so many more.
It would mean so much to all the guys on the release if you can support this - not only are you getting an awesome product, but you're doing some good for a cause too.
Thank you!
