"Lunar Cape" live and work in Moscow since 2011, although the name of the group implies another version. There is a legend that the musicians came to Earth to establish cultural contacts.
Lunar Cape exports to Earth instrumental music, which is quite comprehensible (as they think on the Moon) to a wide range of earthlings. As the music is literally unearthly, it doesn’t belong to any human subculture, so you may call it popular music. It could be a soundtrack for a movie, cartoon, video game or some kind of performance. Some compositions are serious and even philosophical, others are lyrical to pink bubbles, and some others are even aggressive or frightening; it may be an atmospheric background or just some noise - it depends on what will be the image. The musicians follow their emotional picture in their work and try to express it. The best term for it is "Filmusic".
In December 2015, the record label of Alexei Kozlov’s instrumental music Support Fund ArtBit published the club release of Lunar Cape’s debut album «Just Lunatics». On the one hand, it is quite capable to please a connoisseur: elements of jazz-rock, progressive rock, folk and avant-garde, complex time signatures and sophisticated harmonic turnovers. On the other you have melodious music easy to perceive, which you can listen while you work, relax or drive. It will be your faithful companion in a journey through all kinds of images and moods.
