Created as an homage to the concept of the "Backrooms" back in 2020. The Backrooms are known as "the place you go when you no-clip out of reality" - "disquieting, empty, monotonous rooms that somehow feel familiar and nostalgic." I've always been a fan of liminal spaces and that whole aesthetic but I never knew what it was called or how to categorize it whenever I would see images of that nature. Around that time in the pandemic pictures and memes began to flood the internet and I became enthralled with the idea. It was similar to finding ambient music for the first time. I was immediately compelled to create a concept album of someone traversing through the labyrinth. Using techniques I've discovered and acquired over the years perfectly capture how I perceive what the backrooms would sound like.
