Exploring new horizons of lofi, jazz, hip hop and r&b
Kristoffer Eikrem is an award-winning and critically acclaimed artist with a long career as an instrumentalist and composer. Over the years, Eikrem has played with several renowned artists such as Ivan Ave, Beautiful Disco, Bendik Baksaas, Fredfades, Vuyo & Ol' Burger Beats and Mutual Intentions.
With a desire to explore and expand his musical abilites, Eikrem created a new path for himself by producing his own music. This resulted in his debut solo album "Afternoon Assortment" in 2021:

Today, Kristoffer Eikrem is ready with a follow-up album titled At Times.
This album dives deeper into the world of lofi, while also discovering new horizons with intersections of jazz, hip hop, electronica and r&b.
The title At Times is open for interpretation, but suggests experiences, memories and emotions captured in form of sound. Life is full of different moments that can be captured and shared, which can resonate with the listeners own feels and moods.
The album consists mainly of solo tracks by Kristoffer, except for the two tracks “Jam Session” featuring renowned jazz pianist Kjetil Jerve and “Hopeful” together with iconic chillhop producer HM Surf.
"In At Times, I have worked detail-oriented with intricate melodies and chords, but at the same time I have focused on creating a warm and mellow musical atmosphere - in a soundscape that is somewhat more electronic than what I have previously done." - Kristoffer Eikrem
The result is 12 instrumental compositions of a total of 30 minutes, that flow seamlessly into each other - and give an insight into the mind of a creative artist with attention to details.

Kristoffer studied jazz performance at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and shortly after graduating he was named “Young jazz musician of the year 2012”, together with the quintet Mopti. As a performer, Eikrem has played shows across large parts of Europe, India and Japan - and has played at many of the major festivals in Norway.
His ambient album Duets together with Bendik Baksaas was granted the Oslo Award as the album of the year 2018. Duets, released on the Oslo based label Mutual Intentions 2, was also featured on the editorial playlists Fresh Finds and New Music Friday Norway.
After years of focusing on live jazz performance, Kristoffer slowly realized he was more passionate about production and set out to be a fully-fledged producer and beatmaker, diving deep into the world of lofi beats and instrumental hip hop - something he was introduced to by working with Ivan Ave and Fredfades.
Today Eikrem is making his way as a beatmaker and doing collaborations with various instrumentalists from all over the world.
