Shores is the 5th music album by Detroit composer, DJ and producer, Christopher Stewart, also known as Xky. That's me.

One of my milestones is to get a release pressed to vinyl and instead of waiting for a label to show some mercy, I've decided to try crowdfunding.

To be honest I wasn't sure if this was going to be an EP or an album, I just let the creative process do it's thing. Shores is a reflective album, the election and the pandemic has affected us all and we're expressing it in different ways, that is what led to the process of making this album.

Shores is more experimental than my previous albums, I'm slowing rolling more synths into the music, trying new things in mixing and mastering and it came out to my liking, also going for more house flavors in a few tracks and even some breaks.
