Tick-Tock Tick-Tock

I’ll remember the year 2020 for at least two reasons: the birth of my daughter Beatrice (she’ll join us right before Christmas!) and the good friends I made, especially during the lockdown.

This new album is a celebration of friendship in the music community, and I want to thank Roxi Drive, my long time friend Riccardo De Angelis, Bronster Bridge, Konstanza and Mayah Camara for joining me in this wonderful party.

Back 2 School is the last leg of a journey that began with the instrumental EP “Scenes”, and after the appreciation of the song “Tra le Fiamme e le Stelle” in my second album “Allegria” I decided to give more importance to vocal compositions.
The search for a warmer, “realistic” sound brought me to a multi-genre album, where you’ll find classic synthwave, r&b, pop-rock and even vaporwave.

As a kid I remember getting a little melancholic but in a strange way also happy when the time to go back to school approached in September; that indefinable feeling pervades the whole album, and you will find yourself bouncing from the classroom to house parties, to psychedelic trips, to school balls, or lost in the echoes of summer memories.
