I discovered TRIIIBE when I was supposed to go to Homecoming Cincinnati, the music festival curated and headlined by The National. TRIIIBE was on the list, and I hadn’t heard them, so I went to listen… and I was blown away.
A fusion of hip hop and neo soul in the best way, I was floored that this group wasn’t bigger than they are. When I saw their debut album, III AM What III AM wasn’t on vinyl, I knew what I had to do.
FFO: jazzy laid back vibes of Noname, edge and playfulness of Flatbush Zombies, a little A Tribe Called Quest -- while being its own thing entirely.
TMR-11 will be a double splatter single disk, matching the cover perfectly, mastered for vinyl, and an essential in your collection.
Let's make another record!!
