Get Tootawl's debut album on vinyl!

Hello friends!

In January of this year, I recorded my debut album on a Revox A77 reel-to-reel tape machine, meaning it was all done live, no overdubs. Shortly after, I got the front cover taken, a tintype photograph, a method from the 1850s which has seen American Civil War soldiers & cowboys come and go.

This whole album has been homemade, so it would mean the absolute world to me to get this album made into something physical.

It has always been a dream of mine to get my music printed on vinyl, but obviously the cost of vinyl pressing is very high, so it has not been possible for me so far. However, the kind people at Qrates have created this crowdfunding platform exclusively for printing vinyl, meaning that if 100 people or more contribute to this campaign, the album gets printed! If not, no worries!

The songs on this album are old and new, direct statements and vague memories, landscapes and portraits. John Keats buried in a Rome graveyard, Death stalking the Highlands, mourning for things long passed.

So if is something you want in your record collection, I would be over the moon if you contributed!

Also, check out the first single, Do Yourself A Favour, a few weeks before the official release!

Thanks a million!

Standing at six foot five, Irishman Richard O’ Gorman was christened ‘too tawl’ whilst in Nashville, Tennessee, playing his brand of bustling contemporary folk in famous venues such as The Bluebird. Upon his arrival home to Ireland, he began working as Tootawl.

Since Tennessee, Tootawl has released two EPs, received national radio airplay, and toured extensively. He also had his song ‘House On The Moon’ played in an episode of the Netflix original series 'You Me Her'.

Now based in London, he has signed with Max Music Publishing, and is working on his first full length LP, set to be released later this year.
