First and foremost this is a love letter to Vaporwave.
The first Vaporwave song I ever listened to was MELTNET by CYBEREALITYライフ x Architecture In Tokyo, pounding drums and distant chimes made me feel something music never had. This is where I got my name from and in XOXO I want to recreate that feeling of first contact, of experiencing something new but familiar.
I'll never recapture that feeling I once had of uncovering the wide ocean of nostalgia that the genre brought but I hope XOXO showcases the aspects that I love so much about this odd world.
