Since ancient times, Japanese people loved hot springs. Hot springs has various potency and the power to heal our body and mind. Music unit “nontnack” was created in 2011 as to express this comfort of hot springs by music.

日本人は古くから、温泉を愛して止まない。温泉には、様々な効能があり、体の中から心まで癒してくれる力がある。そんな温泉の心地よさを音楽で表現すべく、音楽ユニット”なんとなく（nontnack)”は2011年に結成された。


This is the record rearrangement of their only one original album “trieyes” published in 2013. “trieyes” is a psychedelic artwork pursuing solely mellow comfort regardless of genre. It’s a club music challenge that is inorganic and organic at the same time, with various sounds such as electric guitar, cassette tape, percussion, plug noise and field recording added to the base of heavy and slow beat.

本作は彼らが2013年に残した唯一のオリジナルアルバム「trieyes」をレコード用に再編成したものである。クラブミュージックに挑戦した「trieyes」は、重くゆったりとしたビートに、エレキギター、カセットテープ、パーカッション、プラグノイズ、フィールドレコーディングなど様々な音が重ねられ、無機質でありながらオーガニック、ジャンルにとらわれることなく、まったりとした心地良さだけを追求されたサイケデリックな作品である。


It was an up-and-coming unit that was also introduced in “RADIO SAKAMOTO” of Mr. Ryuichi Sakamoto but unfortunately, they stopped their activity. This record includes 5 musics from “trieyes”, 1 from self-published CDR “trieye’s trieyes” and 1 unpublished music so it’s a kind of the best album of their early days.

By the way “nontnack (NA-N-TO-NA-KU)” means “Just because”, “somehow” or “kind of” in Japanese. Was it by accident or design? It’s up to you to decide. Please drop the needle on this record and experience the live hot springs.

坂本龍一氏の「RADIO　SAKAMOTO」で紹介されるなど、今後が楽しみなユニットであったが、残念ながら今現在は活動はしていない。本レコードは、「trieyes」から5曲。自主出版CDR「trieye's trieyes」から1曲、未発表音源1曲と結成初期のベスト版的な要素も含んでいる。
