"Lost in Translation" got its name from me not always being able to execute song ideas exactly as I hear them in my head. Occasionally, I can hear the finished track in my head. (how I want vocals to sound, melodies, synths, drums, reverb, etc.) Trying to execute that without losing some of the ideas in the process is always the hard part.

Another part of it is the vocal aspect of things. I've always been the music producer, and I've never really thought to sing on my own songs. I would always contact other vocalists, and have them write to the music I was making. They would come up with amazing things, but of course, I always had my own little ideas in my head, I just never thought to try it, because I was never a huge fan of my own voice. With this album, I'm the only vocalist, music producer, writer, mixing engineer, etc. So these ideas and 100% me, and I don't think I've ever been happier with a set of songs I've created! All that being said, I'm beyond excited to share my first Vinyl release with you! :)
