In anticipation to "Waiting Room" coming out on the 29th of November, 2016, I decided that I'll give this crowdfunding thingy a try.
Since last year I had this secret dream of releasing my debut electronic material on vinyl but I had no clue on how to start. After discovering this site however, things became very clear to me. So, without further ado, please welcome my first "vinyl-worthy" record, Lounge Act! Featuring some guest musicians and incorporating my experiences from my time spent in Japan, this EP depicts the things I have experienced in 2014. It is a major step up from my debut material "English Garden", especially in the sense that I turned completely instrumental, no lyrics whatsoever, no indie-guitar themes, just a microkorg and loads of synth tones.
I decided to go all out with this design, no matter the costs, as the concept of the coloured vinyl aims to provide a visual aesthetic to the main colour tones of the purple-splatter that matches with the album cover. (Huge thanks to Huba Szatmári for making this amazing cover btw, you can find him here: https://www.behance.net/hubaszatmari) When it will be available in physical form is completely up to you. If you liked the album, please share this project, and make sure to follow me on several on-line outlets, such as:
