Sam Lachow

Sam Lachow is a producer, rapper, songwriter, videographer, director, and editor of video and music. Raised in both Seattle and New York City he's been making videos since elementary school, and as a seventh-grader began a group called Shankbone. Sam began directing and producing music videos with Shankbone, and went on to create videos for various other artists.
Sam’s self produced debut album is titled "Brand New Bike". The album’s success motivated Sam to follow up with a few EP's, and produce/direct dozens of music videos from the projects on his YouTube channel, which now has over 10 million views. Sam’s fan favorite 80 Bars series has surpassed a million plays on Soundcloud.
In 2017 Sam played 80+shows. Most notably a 59 city national tour with Rittz of Strange Music, and 16 city Headlining West Coast Tour. Then he kicked off 2018 headlining his first East Coast Tour. In his hometown of Seattle he sold out the 1,100 capacity Showbox, and rocked the main stage at 2 of Washington's biggest music festivals Sasquatch and Capitol Hill Block Party. Sam’s second album "Huckleberry" debuted #6, followed by the "Friends, Funk & Liquor" EP debuting at #2 on iTunes Hip Hop.Sam has been making videos since elementary school, and as a seventh-grader he began a group called Shankbone. This group has since gained a dedicated fan base primarily in Seattle, having produced five albums and played dozens of shows. Sam began directing and producing music videos with Shankbone, and went on to create videos for various other Seattle-based artists.
Raised in both Seattle and New York City, Sam graduated in the class of 2009 from Garfield High School in Seattle. He then went on to attend SUNY New Paltz for a year, and is now studying at City College in New York. Sam continues to work with Shankbone and produce videos while crafting his solo projects.
