Slo Moon

For Brent Collins , Slo Moon has been an exploration into the sonic textures and sounds of reverb drenched guitar melodies and cinematic synth nostalgia. The Savannah,Ga singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist laces his inspiration of the shoegaze and dreampop pioneers of the late 80s and early 90s together with ethereal lush soundscapes and drum machines. With the epic sci-fi movie Blade Runner playing in the background of his small studio for inspiration whilst recording his debut EP Moonsun , you can hear with each track Collins intention to meld his own vision of a shoegaze-dreampop/synth world simultaneously for one cohesive motive. During the spring of 2022 the singles Sunrays and Fading were released to an array of positive blog reviews. On July 1st 2022 the single Please Don't Wake Me, I'm Dreaming was released off the long awaited debut album Off World which was self released digitally on all streaming platforms on July 26th 2022. Whitelight-Whiteheat described the album as - "ethereal 4AD style dream-pop", "widescreen shoegaze" , "cinematic and pulsating sensor soundscapes, casting towards escapist phantasmagoric sidereal dimensions"-
